Wisconsin Nets! Here are the current Wisconsin nets: Format Explanation: All nets are in alphabetical order. In state listings, VHF nets are recorded first and then followed by HF nets. The wide-coverage nets are sorted by frequency bands. As an additional guide, registered HF (160 to 10 Meters) nets are sorted by frequency in ascending order in the Net Frequency List. Net Name: The nets that have asterisks (*) in front of their names are affiliated with the National Traffic System. Frequency: High Frequency (HF) nets (below 50 MHz) are listed in Kilohertz (kHz). Very High Frequency (VHF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) nets (above 50 MHz) are listed in Megahertz (MHz). An alternate frequency is abbreviated as "alt." For repeaters, the output frequency is shown. When it is followed by a (+) or a (-) sign, this indicates the standard offset for the input frequency is used. When a frequency is printed in the input field, this indicates a non-standard offset. This directory follows the same format as the ARRL Repeater Directory. Days: Abbreviations are used for days of the week. Sn = Sunday; M = Monday; T = Tuesday; W = Wednesday; Th = Thursday; F = Friday; S = Saturday; Dy = Daily. Examples: 1, 3 M = Net meets the first and third Monday of each month; 2 Sn = Net meets second Sunday of each month. T Th = Net meets Tuesday and Thursday; M-F = Net meets Monday through Friday. Time: A = AM; P = PM Local (year-round): This is most beneficial for local and section nets that meet at the same time year-round regardless of changes for Daylight Saving Time and Standard Time. Of course, take state and coverage area into consideration when looking up times for the nets. Please remember that some states are in two time zones. Section-wide or statewide nets that are known to directly serve an area that covers more than one time zone will not have information in the Local Day/Time column. UTC (in winter): Universal Time. When using this column to determine net times, remember that UTC is shown as if it were winter (or in the months of November, December, January, February or March.) Note: This column helps to further determine the purpose and type of activity to expect on the net. In many cases, the name of the net defines its primary purpose. E = Emergency; T = Traffic handling; W = weather spotting and reporting during stormy conditions. Coverage: The primary geographical area that the net serves. Common two-letter abbreviations for states and ARRL sections are used. Also, directional abbreviation are employed: N = North; S = South; E = East; W = West. NW = Northwest; SE = Southeast. Additional abbreviations: Co = County, ARC = Amateur Radio Club, ARA = Amateur Radio Association. Manager: The Net Manager. =========================================================== Antigo 145.31 - Th 7:00 P F 0100 North Central Wisconsin ARES® & Swap 146.925 - Sn 7:30 P M 0130 Central Wisconsin Baraboo Swap 146.88 - Sn 10:00 A Sn 1600 South Central Wisconsin Brown Co ARES® Net 147.36 + M 7:00 P T 0100 ETW Brown Co N9VJL Calumet Co ARES® 147.30 - Sn 7:30 P M 0130 ETW Northeast Wisconsin Choo Choo Train 146.46 - MWF 9:07 P TThS 0307 Waupaca, Washara Co Code Practice 145.45 - Th 7:00 P F 0100 Northwest Wisconsin Code Practice 146.61 - W 7:00 P Th 0100 Northwest Wisconsin Computer Net 146.91 Th 9:00 P F 0300 Southeast Wisconsin N9KHZ Computer Net 147.15 2,4 Sn 8:00 P 2,4 M 0200 South Central Wisconsin Dane Co ARES® 147.15 W 8:00 P Th 0230 ET South Central Wisconsin Dodge Co ARES® 146.64 - M 7:30 P T 0130 ETW South Central Wisconsin DX Net 147.36 + M Th 9:00 P T F 0300 Southeast Wisconsin Eau Clarie 146.91 - Sn 9:00 P M 0300 Northwest Wisconsin Fast Scan TV 144.34 T 8:30 P W 0230 Southeast Wisconsin FCARC Itty Bitty RTTY 146.70 - T 7:00 P W 0100 ETW Northeast Wisconsin Fort Atkinson 146.52 M 6:30 P T 0030 South Central Wisconsin Fox Cities ARC ARES® 146.76 - W 9:00 P Th 0230 E Northeast Wisconsin Friday CQ Food 146.91 - F 5:00 P F 2300 Southeast Wisconsin Fun 147.06 + M 7:00 P T 0100 Northeastern Wisconsin General Interest 53.090 Sn 9:00 P M 0300 Southeast Wisconsin Geritol 146.445 - Dy 9:00 A Dy 1500 Southeast Wisconsin Geritol 147.39 + Dy 8:00 A & Dy 1400 Waupaca, Washara Co Get the Net 442.200 T 7:00 P W 0100 Southeast Wisconsin Good Morning 147.21 Dy 8:00 A Dy 1400 Door Co Green Bay Area 147.12 + W 8:45 P Th 0234 Northeast Wisconsin Green Bay Siren Test 147.12 + 2 W 11:50 A 2 W 1750 Northeast Wisconsin Green Fox ARES® 146.955 Sn 8:00 P M 0200 ETW Fox Cities Hubertus ARES® 145.25 - M 8:00 P T 0200 ETW Southeast Wisconsin Information 147.150 Th 8:00 P F 0200 South Central Wisconsin MAARS Roundtable 145.13 - T 9:00 P T 0300 Milwaukee Madison Area RA News 147.15 W 9:00 P Th 0300 South Central Wisconsin Marquette Co ARES® 146.595 S 10:00 A S 1600 ETW Marquette, Adams, Waushara, Columbia Co KB9PCU Marinette/Menominee ARC Sunday net 7pm on 147.000 repeater...Newsline broadcast and local ham info.
